Its been raining almost everyday recently.. =/ I hate it when it rains when i'm going to work, i guess its the same for everyone. Sighh.. In another 30mins, i'm setting off to work again. How draggy... how dreading... Even though i received a compliment letter directed to me from my previous flight, it is still not enough to make me look forward to working. I need my PASSION. I have none in this line. =X

Well well, my mood is turning better at least. Things have more or less settled. Once again, i'm anticipating the hong kong trip in just another 10 days! Oh my.. I can hardly wait! Yet again, i'm afraid everything will be over after the trip. No more antipation, no more excitement, and just boring days of work ahead. But of cos, i still have my family trip to Guangzhou in december! =)

Btw, i'm currently hooked on Facebook because its lame yet fun~ hahaha!

Oh man! I was blog hopping and i came upon this comment on a post. I raise both hands up and couldn't agree more on this!!! I agree on every single point he mentioned. This comment was written by a fellow passenger, not from a cabin crew. I'm glad that some ppl actually appreciate what we do and understand our plight.

Let me share w u some of my experience on few of my flts regarding some of the Passenger. It is not discrimination but is just the attitude /ugly side of some Passenger either Asian, As SINGAPOREAN esp well educated,INDIAN, ANG MOH,well educated and even CHILDREN!

1. After reading newspaper or magazine, they just throw it on the flr, expecting the 'Air Maid' to clear for them under their legs.

2. When the stewardess greet a Singaporean Gd Morning, Some will ignore them or will say: Wat so good abt morning!

3. When the stewardess greet a Singaporean, their first word from the Singaporean is ST ( Straits Times)

4. When the stewardess ask the passenger wat they want to drink or eat- one word answer- Fish, water without PLS or Thank you

5.Some passenger would go round and ask from other stewardess for more children amenities when they have many aridi in their bags

6. China Customer- When the stewardess comes out with the snack baskets, poor stewardess not even 3 ROWS, they have to go back to the galley and top up the baskets.

Let's put it in this way: there are nice and polite passenger as well as ugly passenger. Same for stewardess. Wat do u readers have to say? Pls comment>

This comment was to "counter" the enraged post regarding stewardesses discriminating against some passengers. I wouldn't want to name the airline to avoid complications. However, i hate to admit one thing that i'm proud of silkair stewardesses being fair to every customers and we do not practise discrimination at all, and that we give equal generous smile to every single pax. I'm not praising the airline, i'm stating the fact.

But of course, travelling as a passenger is definitely different from working for them. *grinz*

Time flies for me this week and soon it will be the end of my leave! I am not feeling too sad about it because after this week, i'll be left with juz 2 more weeks to my Hong Kong trip! =) I'm just so looking forward to it!!

I haben been doing anything constructive this week except for sleeping~~ Yes, i slept alot! And ever since i started this job, i've learnt to appreciate the joy of taking afternoon naps~ Especially when it rained the whole day! I had trouble sleeping since the beginning of this week which i don't really know why, therefore leaving me feeling lethargic for the rest of the day. =/

Here's my archives for the week so far:

Monday
I rebonded my hair with Wee, and i cut away my fringe! I was a little unsatisfied in the fact that the hairdresser rebonded my whole head ultimately despite constant reminders from me that i only want to straighten the bottom half!! *Oh Well* My hair is now of cos a little too flat, and dear doesn't like it and keep criticizing it! Boo!! However, i'm very happy with the ampuole treatment done, leaving my hair super soft and smooth now. =)

Here's my new look anywae. I just came out from bath therefore its not very clear.




Tuesday
Spent my whole day rotting, resting and recharging. I've finished planning the itinerary and came up with the checklist for the hong kong trip! =) Thanks to the info given to me by my small aunt (if u are seeing this, thanks!) =)

Wednesday
Went sun-bathing with Jan at Sentosa and leaving only the lower half of my body tanned because i didn't want to get my face burnt. =p But my face was a little flushed because we went into the sea and played with the waves! Had our late lunch at Sakae and den met Wee at Marina Square in the evening to shop for her things. It was late when we were about to head home, and we wait for 1 hour plus at the taxi stand with no cab in sight!!! *Fuming!* It was then when we were about to call for cab, the taxis came! -.-! I gained a free ride home anywae, because i shared cab with a lady boss who owned a boutique at Marina Square! =D hahaha.. She was a very nice lady and we chatted with her too while waiting for the stupid taxis!

Today
I spent my whole morning sleeping because of the rain.. =) Met deardear for dinner and then we toured around Geylang!! Haha.. Yeah, we went to visit the red light district! It is really an eye opening to see the the girls standing there in one line, waiting for "business"... And i witnessed an uncle looking through them and finally hooked on to one of them!! *faints*... The uncle... -.-! old old one leh... pui~!

Once again, its my week-long leave again! Today's flight is definitely tramautizing, but it doesn't affect my holiday mood at all. I've already set myself free from bitches what. =) Everything is just smoke-screened.

Nothing much to update because basically, everyday's the same routine. Tml i'm going to straighten my hair together with Wee! =)

Silkair babes with SKII beauties!!

I succumbed to infection after days of sneezing and congestion, and woke up with a super painful and dry sore throat. Couldn't get to sleep last night cos it hurts too much, and therefore i woke up at 6.30am to call in to report sick, even though my flight departs in the aftnoon. I was so angered by the "service" rendered to us from the scheduling people.. After reading jan's blog, i'm even more agitated. We always need to swallow our own anger to appease those unreasonable passengers on board, and even continue smiling at them when we feel so much like showing them our middle finger... Yet, in return, we are not treated well from ground staff and our own crew scheduling. Sometimes, i just feel so tired in this line.

Ironically, the last thing i want to do now is to extend my MC. Lolzz.. Perhaps my flying hours for this month is very low due to my 1 week leave starting on the 15th. However, my throat hurts til the extend that i can't really talk, yet alone serving people... Sigh.

I dun really care if my blog is read by people from my company, because all these are facts and i just need some space to vent out my anger. We are humans as well, we deserve your respect.

A stone has been lifted up from my heart after my SEP recurrent is over. I've been dreading it and finally its over! 2 days worth of studying and enduring is over, and i have officially passed the tests!! =) I had 1 mistake in SEP and scored full marks in first-aid. =D

Went to Jermaine's birthday celebration at BEDS last night, a ktv pub. It was definitely an eye-opening for a nerd like me. =/ Lolz.. Nevertheless, i had a rather fun time over there with my batch girl Cheryl, and some other colleagues as well(my seniors)! I was surprised to see them especially Ferline. Hahaz. Had a few drinks cos we were having this "Bottoms Up" forfeit after losing a game. Well, i admit that i dun really know how to drink and therefore some of them helped me. =D However, i felt i had a little too much more than usual ydae and felt a little high and tipsy at some point, but it was still alright! Of cos, some of them were really drunk. Shall post some pics after Cheryl send me the pics, you can see how red we are. =X

Thanks a lot to my dad who sent me there, and dear who sent me back. =D Well, i guess i am still a very protected "princess" in this area. I should count my blessings, but at the same time, i wish i had more night life... It really helps to unwind a little although i had headache and trouble sleeping last night. =p
